* Cover all we do with prayer.

* Be a "Word and Spirit" Church.

* Keep God's Word at the heart of all we do.

* Experience and share the love of Christ with ALL who come among us.

* Aim in some way to meet the spiritual needs of ALL as far as possible.

* Practice unity in diversity.

* Grow in quality and quantity, in faith an in numbers.

* Grow through reaching the unchurched, or by welcoming believers new to the area.

* Nevertheless, to accept and integrate local believers who feel the need to join us.

* Integrate Children and young people into the Church.

* Build the Church of tomorrow.

* Recognise and develop the use of spiritual gifts for the building up of the Church body.

* Develop into a large Church with a diversity of small groups.

* Reach out with the gospel in the neighbourhood through as many means as we can think of.

* Strive to make God's word relevant to the needs of contemporary society.

* Co-operate across demoninational barriers with other churches who share our purpose.

* Support and encourage christians working in outlying areas.

* Support missions at home and abroad.

* Encourage all to view their work as their mission.

* Encourage all members to be active in the work of the Church.

* Encourage generous giving to the local church and to mission in order to maximise resources.

* Send and support those who are called to leave secular work in order to serve Christ more effectively.

* Encourage members to seek the approval of elders for initiatives which are in keeping with the purpose of the Church and to develop them.

* Be willing to drop things that are no longer effective, to take on new ideas and try new methods in order to achieve the purpose of the Church.
